The DEWALT DW735X 13-Inch with Three Knife Cutter and Two Speed Thickness Planer has a powerful 20,000 RPM motor (10,000 RPM cutter head speed) at 15 AMP that handles large cuts in wide materials with ease. The three-knife cutter-head lasts longer than most knife heads which make knife change lesser and easier.

The two-speed gearbox allows users to change the speed that optimizes at 96 or 179 cuts per inch. It has a fan-assisted chip ejection vacuums chips off of the cutter-head and exhausts them out of the machine easily preventing clogging. With a 19-3/4" cast aluminum base, the Dewalt DW735X is twice more rigid than a standard 10" base and folding tables.

The automatic carriage lock reduces the movement which causes snipe. There's no need for manual engagement! It also has a material removal gauge and extra-large thickness scale that delivers cuts with every pass accurately. Users can easily return to the most frequently used thicknesses easily with its Extra-large turret depth stop.
